Republic administrative fee is 1090,00 RSD as of 01.08.2024.

CAD RS has issued the revised Maintenance approval organization certificate to Jat Tehnika for Airbus aircraft

The Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia (CAD RS) has issued the revised Maintenance approval organization certificate to JAT Tehnika for Airbus aircraft with capability extension to Airbus A320 family. The certificate was issued on May 15, 2013 for aviation maintenance technical activities, where in addition to the existing the scope of work with Boeing 737 Classic & NG family and ATR (ATR) 72 -100/-200/-300 family, including new aircraft in A-319/320/321 family, with two different engine types (CFM56-5 & IAE V2500), including ATR 42-400/500. 

 

The issue of the certificate was preceded by extensive testing and modifications which were necessary for the improvement of the working conditions on new types of aircraft, both in line and basic maintenance, referring primarily to the verification of the necessary number of mechanical engineers, if the necessary tools for the new scope of works to be carried out were in place, working area including appropriate equipment, aircraft manufacturers documentation, engine components, and implementation of all necessary procedures within the approved Maintenance Manual. 

 

Following the six-month checks and rectifications carried out by JAT Tehnika, the Civil Aviation Directorate has concluded that, after more than a year of preparations for this technological leap, it is ready for the certificate which will provide opportunity for JAT Tehnika to provide maintenance services for the new generation of aircraft to both national and international operators.

 

The certificate issued by the Civil Aviation issued to JAT Tehnika will be followed by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certificate, given that the DCV RS is the authorized and accredited body, which has been operating on behalf of EASA.
