From 09.06. from 00:00 till friday 13.06. 23:59 local time, all operations of unmanned aircraft are prohibited in the part of the airspace that includes a circle with a radius of 20 km centered at the point with the following coordinates 44°48'42"N 020°27'57"E (Belgrade). Airspace users and operators of unmanned aircraft are required to familiarize themselves with relevant NOTAM (A2495/25 and C2518/25).

To submit a request for the issuance of a certificate of validity of the permit, personnel/not causing an accident, from December 6, 2024, the Republic administrative fee is RSD 800.00.
Republic administrative fee is 1090,00 RSD as of 01.08.2024.
Owner/user or the operater of unmanned aircraft shall submit, as parties in the administrative procedure, request for approval of unmanned aircraft directly or through authorized respresentative

Air Services Agreement Between Serbia and Georgia Signed

On 5 June 2025, in Belgrade, an Air Services Agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Georgia, along with a supporting Memorandum of Understanding between the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia and the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia. The Agreement and Memorandum were signed by Ms. Mirjana Cizmarov, Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, and Mr. Givi Davitashvili, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia, in the presence of Ms. Aleksandra Sofronijevic, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia. The signed agreements establish the regulatory and operational conditions for initiating direct air service between Belgrade and Tbilisi as of 15 June 2025. The Agreement between the two Governments defines the legal framework for the operation of scheduled international air services, while the Memorandum of Understanding enables direct cooperation between the two civil aviation authorities in technical, regulatory, and safety matters. Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate meets with UK Ambassador to enhance bilateral cooperation

Mirjana Čizmarov, Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, met on 23 May in Belgrade with Edward Ferguson, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom. During the meeting, they discussed the preparation and signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding, which will modernise and improve the existing Air Services Agreement signed in 1950. This step represents a significant contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation between Serbia and the United Kingdom in the field of civil aviation, aiming to align with current international standards and practices and to enhance air traffic between the two countries.

The Civil Aviation Directorate at the ICAO Facilitation Conference (FALC 2025) in Doha

Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, Mirjana Čizmarov, participated in the ICAO Facilitation Conference (FALC 2025), held from April 14 to 17, 2025, in Doha, Qatar. The event was organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of the State of Qatar.​  FALC 2025 convened global civil aviation leaders to advance the implementation of Annex 9 — Facilitation of the Convention on International Civil Aviation. The conference focused on enhancing collaboration, efficiency, and inclusivity in air transport under the theme “Facilitating the Future of Air Transport.” It also commemorated the 75th anniversary of Annex 9 and ICAO’s 80th anniversary. During her visit, Director Čizmarov met with His Excellency Mohamed Faleh Al-Hajri, Acting President of the Civil Aviation Authority of the State of Qatar. They discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and the initiative to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of civil aviation.​ By participating in this high-level event, the Civil Aviation Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving international standards in air transport facilitation.​

Three-Day Workshop on Cybersecurity in Aviation Held in Belgrade

Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia hosted a three-day workshop organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), dedicated to cybersecurity in aviation. The event, held from April 1 to 3 in Belgrade, brought together experts from around the world and the region who specialize in cybersecurity in aviation, providing a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences on current threats and mechanisms for responding to potential incidents. The workshop was opened by the Director of the Directorate, Mirjana Čizmarov, together with Elkan Nahmadov, Deputy Regional Director of ICAO for Europe and the North Atlantic. On this occasion, Čizmarov emphasized that digital transformation brings serious security challenges that require a strategic approach and international cooperation, and noted that cybersecurity is an indispensable aspect of the aviation industry, which must be prepared to respond to increasingly complex threats. The event addressed topics such as national, regional, and global aspects of cyber threats, regulatory frameworks and implementation of cybersecurity requirements, oversight mechanisms and the experiences of regulators and the industry, as well as the ICAO framework and program for cybersecurity in civil aviation. The successful workshop was concluded by Zlatko Mišćević, Advisor to the Director General of the Directorate, who emphasized that the Directorate actively monitors and implements the latest international standards and best practices in the field of cybersecurity, with the goal of effectively responding to all challenges and ensuring the resilience of the aviation industry.
