Republic administrative fee is 1090,00 RSD as of 01.08.2024.
Owner/user or the operater of unmanned aircraft shall submit, as parties in the administrative procedure, request for approval of unmanned aircraft directly or through authorized respresentative

Directorate Provides Funding to Serbian Airports for Security Infrastructure Improvement

On 10 July 2025, the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia donated 11 million dinars to the Joint Stock Company “Airports of Serbia” – Nis, with the aim of improving the security infrastructure and operational capacities of Nis Airport. The funds will be used for the procurement of a high-resolution mobile X-ray scanner for screening unattended baggage, as well as for the acquisition of a simulator for the training of security screening operators. The agreement was signed by the Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate, Ms. Mirjana Cizmarov, and the Director of Airports of Serbia, Mr. Mihajlo Zdravkovic. The donation was granted based on a request submitted by Airports of Serbia, and the funds were allocated within the Directorate’s 2025 Financial Plan, previously approved by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. This support is part of the Directorate’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the civil aviation security system in the Republic of Serbia through investment in technical capacities and personnel training.

Standardization Assessment of Sailplane Flight Instructors FI(S) Held

On 5 July 2025, a practical skills standardization assessment of sailplane flight instructors – FI(S) – was conducted at Valjevo Airfield (LYVA), organized by the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia. The assessment was carried out under the Amendment to the Regulation on Sailplane Air Operations. The assessment was conducted by authorized examiners and inspectors of the Directorate. The purpose of the standardization assessment was to support flight safety through consistent training practices and effective implementation of regulatory requirements. In addition to practical skill standardization assessments, the focus was also on sharing experiences, discussing new regulations, and current gliding regulatory requirements.

Air Services Agreement Between Serbia and Georgia Signed

On 5 June 2025, in Belgrade, an Air Services Agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Georgia, along with a supporting Memorandum of Understanding between the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia and the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia. The Agreement and Memorandum were signed by Ms. Mirjana Cizmarov, Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, and Mr. Givi Davitashvili, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia, in the presence of Ms. Aleksandra Sofronijevic, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia. The signed agreements establish the regulatory and operational conditions for initiating direct air service between Belgrade and Tbilisi as of 15 June 2025. The Agreement between the two Governments defines the legal framework for the operation of scheduled international air services, while the Memorandum of Understanding enables direct cooperation between the two civil aviation authorities in technical, regulatory, and safety matters. Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate meets with UK Ambassador to enhance bilateral cooperation

Mirjana Čizmarov, Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, met on 23 May in Belgrade with Edward Ferguson, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom. During the meeting, they discussed the preparation and signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding, which will modernise and improve the existing Air Services Agreement signed in 1950. This step represents a significant contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation between Serbia and the United Kingdom in the field of civil aviation, aiming to align with current international standards and practices and to enhance air traffic between the two countries.
