The Republic of Serbia and the Civil Aviation Directorate have been greatly honoured at the 44th session of the Provisional Council of the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL). Director of the Directorate, Ms Mirjana Cizmarov, was elected a Vice President of the EUROCONTROL`s Provisional Council (PC) for a term of two years. Cizmarov was chosen unanimously.

 

The PC is the governing body of EUROCONTROL comprising of the representatives from all member states at the level of directors general from the national civil aviation authorities. The PC is responsible for implementing EUROCOTNROL`S general policy as established by the Permanent Commission and is responsible for the supervision of the Agency`s work.

 

Serbia has been a full EUROCONTROL member since 2005.
