Safety order

On 19 may 2022, Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia issued safety order that refers to aircraft operators holding an Air Operator Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia and operating in accordance with Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), and type rating examiners (TRE(A)).
Aircraft operators holding an Air Operator Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia and operating in accordance with Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) shall perform operator proficiency check only on flight simulators training devices appropriate to the type of aircraft.
Type rating examiners (TRE(A)) are instructed to conduct Skill test for obtaining an Airplane transport pilot license (ATPL (A)), Skill test for obtaining a multi-pilot airplane type rating or a single-pilot high performance complex airplane type rating, as well as Proficiency checks for revalidation or renewal of the validity of a multi-pilot airplane type rating or a single-pilot complex high-performance complex airplane type rating, shall be conducted exclusively on full flight simulator (FFS) for the appropriate airplane type.
By the way of derogation from points 1 and 2 of this Order, where there is no flight simulator available for a specific type of aircraft or it is not accessible, proficiency checks and skill tests may be performed on aircraft with the prior consent of the Directorate.
