157th ECAC Meeting of Directors General of Civil Aviation Authorities held
The Directors General of Civil Aviation of the ECAC member states met on December 15 in Paris, at their regular 157th meeting, to review the activities implemented from the previous meeting, and set new goals for 2022.
The Directors General of Civil Aviation analyzed the implemented ECAC activities in 2021 and the planned activities for the next year. Further plans regarding the establishment of a joint list of European candidates on the occasion of the election of the ICAO Council for 2025 were also adopted, as well as European priorities for the 41st session of the ICAO Assembly in the fall of 2022.
Bearing in mind that on November 4, 2021, the ECAC Coordination Committee proposed Mirjana Čizmarov, Director of the RS Civil Aviation Directorate, as a full member of the founding board of the JAA TO organization, on that occasion Ms. Čizmarov was unanimously elected the first woman addressed all present colleagues.
In her introductory speech, Director Čizmarov thanked for the trust shown on the occasion of the election for a member of the ECAC Coordination Committee. Director Čizmarov pointed out that she was immensely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the Conference with her other competencies, along with other established members of the Committee.
"By electing me a member of the ECAC Coordination Committee, you have once again shown the pan-European dimensions of this organization, which is highly valued in the Republic of Serbia. As a member of the Committee, I will do my best to contribute to the most important conference in the field of civil aviation," said the director of the Serbian aviation authorities.
