Memorandum of Cooperation signed with Aviation Academy on dual model of education in aviation

At the premises of the Aviation Academy in Belgrade, on December 1 of 2021, the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia concluded the Memorandum of Cooperation on the development of a dual model of education in aviation with this prominent educational institution.

The main impetus for this cooperation initiated by the Aviation Academy and the Directorate is the promotion of leadership, innovation and professional competence within the dual education system, as well as the need to further develop the air transport economy.

The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the Director of the Directorate, Ms Mirjana Čizmarov and the Director of the Academy, Goran Cvijović, after which Ms. Čizmarov addressed the students. The Director Čizmarov expressed her admiration for the young people who chose their life vocation related to air transport since it is the safest, fastest and most practical form of modern transport, pointing out that the doors of the Directorate are always open to them.

Students of the Aviation Academy who will receive education under the dual model will be able to improve their theoretical knowledge and professional competencies through professional development programs within the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia and thus create a basis for further training and development in the aviation industry.
