On October 11, 2021, on the occasion of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Constantine the Great Airport, at the Army Home of Nis, the appreciation awards ceremony was held where many institutions were present that contributed to helping this airport operation.

A letter of appreciation was also awarded to the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, received by Mirjana Cizmarov, director.

Referring briefly to the airport's history, Director Cizmarov expressed her gratitude for the award, pointing out that, as a regulatory and supervisory body in the Republic of Serbia, the Directorate is open to any assistance in enabling and facilitating further improvements and development in the field of air transport.
