Air Transport Law

Friday, 15.10.2010.
New air transport law, adopted by the National Assembly on 12 October, is to come into force on 20 October 2010.

This document lays down rules governing carriage by air, airports and airport services, implementation of safety standards, while ensuring security of passengers, aircraft noise and emissions. The new law provides for more stringent rules in case of any non-compliance.

It practically means that this law is a modern act which has been harmonized with European standards in air transport. The law also regulates all aspects of this mode of transport, which will positively contribute to overall Serbian aviation safety and allow for its rapid development.

Air Transport Law is published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" No. 73/10 of 12 October 2010.
