EUROCONTROL Director General visiting the Directorate

 On 3rd July 2023, Mirjana Čizmarov, the Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, met with Raúl Medina Caballero, the Director General of the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), and regional directors of civil aviation authorities in Belgrade to gain an understanding of future projects in the field of air navigation.

 
Apart from Mirjana Čizmarov and Raúl Medina, representatives of the civil aviation authorities of the Republic of Turkey, Zoran Maksimović, the director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro, Tomislav Tuntev, the director of the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia, and Maksim Et'hemaj, the director of the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority were present at this multilateral meeting.
 
The meeting aimed to strengthen the cooperation between the countries of the region and EUROCONTROL. Prior to the meeting, Mirjana Čizmarov and Raúl Medina held a briefing with Goran Vesić, the Minister of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure. During the briefing, Mr. Vesić discussed with Mr. Medina the necessary mechanisms to seek further improvement of the cooperation in the field of civil aviation between this aviation organization and the Republic of Serbia.
