A Training Agreement was signed between JAA TO and the Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia

On November 10, 2023, a one-year comprehensive Training Agreement was signed between the Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organisation (JAA TO) and the Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Serbia, marking a significant deepening of collaboration and mutual commitment to improving aviation safety, regulatory standards, and planning training programs in civil aviation.

The agreement, which comes into effect in January 2024, encompasses a diverse range of training, including traditional classroom training, virtual learning, and online courses, both at the JAA TO headquarters and in Serbia.

One of the highlights of this collaboration is the Directorate's interest in the exclusive Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Diploma program offered by JAA TO, representing an innovative approach to the field of unmanned aircraft.

Goran Jovićić, Assistant Director General of the Directorate, emphasized that this agreement provides a solid foundation for planning training programs and believes that utilizing JAA TO resources will contribute to the more efficient development of the aviation safety system.

With the commencement of this collaboration between the Directorate and JAA TO, the shared knowledge of the two organizations is enhanced, with a focus on improving aviation safety, regulatory standards, and planning training programs in civil aviation.
