In the period from 00:00 on August 29 until 06:00 on August 31 local time, it is prohibited to fly unmanned aircraft on the territory of the City of Belgrade and the City of Novi Sad. The civil aviation safety in the Republic of Serbia is our top priority and the backbone of the operation of the Directorate. All activities of the Directorate are focused on achieving a more reliable and efficient development of aviation safety systems.
 
The development of a safe aviation conditions is fostered by partnerships with the aviation industry, while constantly making improvements in this area within Serbia, including the cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
 
By way of making sustained efforts towards a more solid safety system in Serbia, adopting and implementing the European aviation standards and continual inspections, the Directorate contributes towards the development of the aviation safety system in the region and Europe as a whole.
