On March 12, 2020, the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia issued an Operational Notice regarding the implementation of safety measures requiring public air transport operators to provide sufficient disinfectants to prevent the spreading of COVID-19  On January 10, 2020, the following regulations were published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia: the Regulation on Unmanned Aircraft, the Regulation amending the Regulation on training and certificates of the personnel responsible for conducting security screenings and training organizations of aviation security personnel, and the Regulation on the third country air carriers subject to ban or operating restriction. These regulations will enter into force on 18 january, with the exception of the Regulation on the Unmanned Aircraft, which will enter into force on 15 February. 


  • Primary objective of the National Aviation Security Program (National Program) is the protection of passengers, crew, personnel engaged in civil aviation, baggage, mail and goods, general public, facilities and aircraft equipment, as well as devices, facilities and equipment used for civil aviation at and outside of aerodromes from acts of unlawful interference, on the ground or in flight. National Program defines measures, action and procedures to safeguard civil aviation from acts of unlawful interference, establishes responsibility for the application of common aviation security standards ensuring the coordination of activities of all entities in the implementation of the National Program, in order to improve aviation security, regularity and efficiency of domestic and international air transport. National Program is adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, bears a mark of confidentiality, and is not available to the public.
  • The National Facilitation Program is a set of measures, administrative and technological procedures facilitating the conduct of international public air transport in the Republic of Serbia, accelerating the flow of passengers, baggage, goods and mail. The aim of the National Facilitation Program is to define competencies of the state bodies, organizations, legal entities, airport operators, air carriers and other stakeholders interested in the implementation of the program and obligations and duties in implementing the program.
